This is a tomb carved in its entirety out of the \b \cf1 \ATXht20 tufa\b0 \cf0 \ATXht0 and dating from between the second and the first century BC. Access was provided by a steep flight of 29 steps and it was designed to resemble a late Etruscan house: a rectangular atrium covered by a saddle roof with false
beams and rafters gave, through a large door, onto the tablinum. It was in this room that the six cinerary urns made of \b \cf1 \ATXht20 travertine\b0 \cf0 \ATXht0 and belonging to prosperous members of the Velimna family were found in 1840.\par
